B1a / U1 in 1/72 - scale, but as I couldn't get on with the thin
and flimsy 'etched' radar, and the injection radar was too
crude, I added some spares from the Revell Focke Wulf, a
reasonably good compromise. |

Another View
The kit does not provide the
radar, only the stumps soI have used the antennae from the
Revell Focke Wulf - kit. The tail warning radar (not visible on
this photo) is made the same way with the addition of a piece of
guitar string. The 'flame guards' are made from 'drinking straw'
cut in half lengthways...
